So you’ve ordered your C9 / Clean 9 Cleanse – what sort of support should you look for?

So you’ve ordered your C9 / Clean 9 Cleanse – what sort of support should you look for?

The C9 (Clean 9) is the very popular first part of the Forever F.I.T weight management programme and one which has often been seen and used as a stand alone 9 day nutritional cleanse, even though it is essentially the preparatory phase of  the F.I.T. programme

The reason for it’s huge popularity can mainly be put down to a relatively short time span – 9 days – in which you can feel healthier, more energised, ‘cleaner’, and for some, leaner and lighter. It’s a great way to break some of the bad eating and drinking habits we all tend towards and set us on a healthier path. Which fits very well post Christmas, New Year, Pre Summer, Pre Holiday and Pre Christmas and so on. With the well-known benefits of Aloe Vera underpinning the benefits of the programme and a structured eating plan, 9 days can appear very achievable in our world of quick fixes.

Do I really need support to do the C9?

You can of course complete the C9 entirely on your own using the comprehensive Information booklet and plan.

However If you’ve not done the C9 before then you may well find that having someone who is there to help keep you on track and answer any queries will make it feel much easier. If there are any challenges (for example if you’re tempted to have a glass of wine!) along the way having the right support can make all the difference.

What type of support?

In order to make sure that you get the most out of your C9 the customer service aspect of Forever products is hugely valuable. Your experience of the programme is personal to you so having someone to answer your questions and queries and guide you through is very much a priority and part of the offering, especially with the C9 and F.I.T programmes.

Whether it’s face to face, by phone, text, skype or messaging you are very likely to benefit from the support of someone who has been through the programme and understands how it works and understands the sort of things you may be experiencing. You’ll have a comprehensive plan in your C9 pack to take you through each day, however having someone you can chat through your expectations, the practical aspects of the programme and how to apply them to your personal situation is very helpful. Often it is simply knowing that there is someone there to help you to stay on track and responds positively when your energy and motivation falls a bit flat, which it inevitably will at some point while your body and energy levels rebalance, that makes all the difference.

For many people an initial conversation then a personal daily message, call or text works very well and is all they need or want. Most queries can usually be resolved within that communication.  Additionally keeping an open line of communication or simply responding to an energy or motivation slump can be very helpful for staying on track.

For some people group support can work very well too. There are community groups on Facebook where you can share your experiences with others and find mutual support along the way too.

Who will provide this support?

If you have ordered your C9 through someone you know then in the first instance make sure that you have a chat with them before you get started. Ideally they will have been in touch with you directly and you can agree the best way for them to support you.

If you have bought your C9 online or through someone you don’t know, it would normally be the case for that person to contact you so that they chat through how they can support you. If that doesn’t happen soon after you have ordered then do contact them directly through the contact details on the site you ordered from.

If you have bought your C9 online and ticked the ‘do not contact’ box then it’s up to you to contact the Forever Business Owner (FBO) who owns the site you bought through as they won’t have your contact details. It’s understable why you may not want the FBO to contact you if you are simply buying a product, but do consider that helping you to have the best experience and make the most out of the product is what they do…

If you have purchased your C9 on ebay or Amazon then you are unlikely to get any support from the seller as it is against the Forever Company Policy to sell through these platforms.

What sort of things do I need to know before starting the C9 / Clean 9?

Here are some helpful hints that can help you prepare for the C9 before you start:

  • Ease off alcohol and caffeine for a week or a few days before you start C9. The C9 enhances your body’s ability to naturally detox and some people experience mild headaches and irritability especially day 1 and day 2 as toxins move around and leave the body.  Reducing your intake of alcohol and caffeine will minimise this.
  • Take all your measurements as directed and record them but also take note of how you are feeling generally, your energy levels, mood, cravings (sugar, coffee ) your skin and hair. Weight loss is a possible byproduct of the C9 rather than an aim, so by recording a variety of aspects you’ll be able to take a more holistic and complete view of the results.
  • Read the Information booklet and have a good variety of the healthy food options available and ready to use – there are plenty of ideas in the booklet. That way you won’t be caught out and reach for a less appropriate snack or food when you feel hungry.
  • Checkout all the recipes available and ensure that you have what you need ready to start. You may want to consider a variety of different milk options, (almond, coconut, hazelnut, soya) instead of cow’s milk.
  • Plan ahead as you will be limited in the choice of drinks for the 9 days so here are a few ideas to ring the changes from plain water: Hot water! (boiled and slightly cooled) with or without a slice of lime, lemon or ginger, occasional Aloe Blossom Tea, Rooibos tea (naturally decaffeinated).
  • Prepare yourself in advance for any events that fall in the 9 days that will mean you have to avoid eating or drinking what may be on offer. Social events, work events, parties etc. For days 3-9 you can interchange your meal between lunch and dinner to work around this. A tip if you are out socialising, have a large glass of water (with lime or lemon slice if you can) in your hand – it can be easier to decline a drink and for people to persist if you have one in your hand. It also means your hands are occupied and less likely to inadvertently reach for a snack.
  • Plan to start when you know the first two days (which most people find the hardest) will be at a time when you aren’t doing anything overly physical or stressful. You may feel tired, lethargic or irritable while your body is adjusting, so be kind to yourself, and maybe be around people who will be supportive.
  • The aloe vera gel drink is the cornerstone of the C9. Keep it in the fridge so it is very cold when you drink it. Start the drinking gel a few days before if you can. Some people find the taste a little challenging, if this is you then try to persevere (it does get better) and if you need to, a small amount of fruit juice can help.

So do you have everything in place to make the C9 work for you, including all the support you want? Have you had all your questions answered from the FBO you purchased your C9 from? If not go get it 🙂 And have a brilliant C9 experience … 🙂

Why do people view Network Marketing / MLM differently to ‘traditional’ businesses?

Why do people view Network Marketing / MLM differently to ‘traditional’ businesses?

Having worked in the world of ‘traditional’ business and been heavily involved with business networking for many years, I have been very aware that people often view a Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing business very differently. There are many reasons for this and as my quest to develop a very different approach to Network Marketing evolves I’d love to know your thinking on this.

Many thanks

What has put you off continuing or starting your own Network Marketing / MLM business?

What has put you off continuing or starting your own Network Marketing / MLM business?

With over 12 years working in and around the industry, the reasons why people leave network marketing / multi-level marketing and why many people choose not to even start has always been a great fascination and interest to me.  I’ve met many people over the years and heard their stories and experiences and read plenty of online articles and I have my own experience and view too. Personal stories are far more useful than 3rd party views or ‘opinions’ which is why I’d love to hear yours …

Many thanks for taking the time to comment.
